Every year, when April arrives, it carries me back to my childhood in Japan, to the time when cherry blossoms bloomed in quiet abundance around my home.

I don’t remember the moments clearly, only the feeling they left behind. Petals drifted through the air like soft memories, marking the arrival of spring not only through what was seen, but through what was felt. It existed only for a moment, yet it stayed with me.

This cherry blossom collection was created as a way of preserving those moments, the tender colours of pale pink and innocent white, the sweet, almost weightless scent carried by the breeze, and the sense of calm that settled beneath the trees. Rather than documenting the blossoms as they appear, I’ve intended to seek to hold what they feel like: the softness, the transience, and the quiet joy of a season that never stays for long.

Each piece is an offering to nostalgia and impermanence, inviting you to step into a gentle Japanese spring, a place where time slows, petals fall, and childhood wonder lingers just a little longer.
