The story of a lake whose waters are translucent and softly sheened, glowing like stained glass

The Imaginary Wander

Have you every dreamed of a lake whose water glows and transparent as stained glass? Glass Glades welcomes you to a spiritual lake who absorbs the light into emerald hues, turning the surface into a gleaming threshold, a world suspended on the other side.

No one is there but myself. The only sounds are birds chirping and the dulcent flow of water, surrounded by a spiritual quietness that is so beautiful it feels almost uncanny.

I wander through this stillness, where only greens and their reflections glow quietly, leaving me uncertain which world is real, the leaves above or their mirrored image below.

The gleam of the water’s surface begins to seduce me, inviting me to step into the other side of the world.

Whimsical questions to awaken your imagination

Step into this world with the same curious questions I once carried while wandering here. Ask yourself, and let your imagination drift freely. There is no right answer here, only the quiet joy of imagining.

  • Have you ever imagined, or even quietly wished, to encounter magical beings while wandering through nature? This place feels a little otherworldly, and a little mysterious, as if luminal fawns, glade dwarves, moss fairies, or other hidden friends might appear at any moment. Would they greet you warmly, or shy away the moment they realise they have been seen?

  • Have you ever thought that a shining water surface, reflected in forest greens, looks almost delicious? Would it tastes like a sweet forest apple, or perhaps something cool and refreshing, like mint?

  • You reach out and dip your fingers in. Is it soft and bouncy like jelly, hard and smooth like glass, or slippery like wet paint between your fingers?

  • Would it speak in colours rather than words, or offer only silence, leaving you with a feeling instead of a voice?
