As a child, I imagined every petal as sugar candy, shimmering with magic.

The Prologue

In autumn, the world learned how to soften its voice.

Green lingered in the leaves like a memory that did not want to leave, while yellow crept in quietly, followed by amber, rust, and the slow burn of red. Nothing changed all at once. The forest breathed between seasons, each colour overlapping the next, as if time itself had become hesitant. What was once green did not disappear—it deepened, warmed, and surrendered, becoming flame.

One red leaf finally loosened its hold. It drifted from the branch without sound, turning gently in the air before resting on the pond. Where it touched the water, the surface blushed, the red thinning into coral pink, spreading like diluted paint. The lake became a soft gradation of colour—green reflections fading into rose, then into clear, waiting light.

A bird glided across the pond, unhurried. Its movement broke the perfect stillness, sending ripples through the colours, bending and scattering them. The careful gradient dissolved, not ruined but transformed—shimmering, alive. In that quiet disturbance, the season revealed itself: change not as loss, but as a beautiful interruption, reminding the world that nothing meant to stay still ever truly does.

Growing up surrounded by nature’s embrace, I never tired of its wonders. While my friends played indoors, I roamed through forests, gazing at the world through the lens of my imagination.

As I grew older, I drifted from the inner child who once explored so freely. Then, I discovered photography - a medium that rekindled my joy in capturing the emotional resonance of natural spaces.

Through my lens, I bring to life the world I daydreamed of as a child: a sanctuary where I feel safe, where I can be my truest self, and where judgment fades away.

This series is my way of reconnecting with that inner child, inviting you all to see the world with innocent wonder and to romanticice life’s everyday moments.

As a child, I wandered through enchanting rose gardens, filled with their sweet, romantic scents. Gazing at vibrant roses stretching across the landscape, I imagined each petal shimmering like sugar candy. That vision beckoned me to explore further, lost in a world of sweetness and wonder.
